I've missed all the challenges this week due to first a busy schedule and then a bad cold/flu, so I just really wanted to do a challenge today. I tried to get the last 3 in on today's card.
Sketch -- the diagonal thing
Ways to Use It -- to use our sanding blocks
Limited Supplies -- to make faux chipboard
Oh, additionally I wanted it to be a card for a child as I need 3 of them soon for another of our silly games we play at birthday parties we have.
Well, this card is so totally NOT me -- I love all the cards everyone else does in this style, and I wanted to try and thought these challenges were the perfect fit for such a card -- I tried -- that's about all I can say -- LOL!!!
My background embossed pieces were sanded, but I didn't like them so I then went over them in craft white DTP. The heart is a real chipboard piece that is colored with craft ink, sanded, then embossed those tiny white flowers on. The other 3 flowers are faux chipboard made from a Kleenex box. They, too, are sanded.
Oh well -- at least it's nice to be back in the saddle and be able to visit with you all via comments!!! I missed that this week!!!

You did an awesome job on this card. Great job also in combining all of the challenges into one. That alone is a huge challenge. I've looked through your gallery and you have amazing talent, no matter what your style

I'm sorry to hear that you've been ill; that stuff is blucky! I've missed your uploads, too, and glad to see you feeling well enough to incorporate so many challenges into one card. You may think this is so not you, but I do see hints of your trademark creativity and artistry. This is so pretty! I love how you used the white craft ink over the 'bug' pieces. Darling card!
