Here's my first attempt at a card with my CUTE new set! I feel like it's lacking SOMETHING, but I'm not sure what... tried to add some torn vellum to the top to look a little like icicles, but it didn't tear well, so I left it off. I'd love your recommendations!

I love Jenn's Idea! Fibers around the sweater to look like a scarf would look great. I love it all by itself though. this would be a great "step it up" card!
1) add stampin dimensionals to pop out sweater and scarf.
2) add fibers for scarf
3) add a little CE and a light sprinkling of DD glitter....real light. it will sparkle more that way!
I added this card to my favorites! love the colors and layout!
Great Job!

Great card. I just love the colors. I think may some fibers across the top might top it off if you still feel like you want to add something else. But I think it's great the way it is.

Thank you for all the feedback! I love this new Brocade Blue I got... when it came, I thought there must be something wrong because it's this pretty periwinkle blue and it didn't match ANY of my blues. So I called DS to see if they were changing the color or if it was just a dyelot difference. They said there was no planned change and sent me a replacement package. (I'm telling you, this looks NOTHING like the other colors... you can tell my comparing the paper to the color on the sweater!) Well, of course the replacement package looks exactly the same as my periwinkle package, so who knows!? But I LOVE this color... hope it sticks around!
So if I were to add glitter (gotta love the DD!), where would you add it? On the sweater and hat? The whole thing or just a few touches? On the snow? Where?
And I LOVE the fibers idea... note to self: must get EE fibers!

After 11 years as a demo, guess I'm not so"new" anymore!
