I received this cute image in the mail from Crissy, one of the artists for High Hopes Stamps. THANKS CRISSY!! She stamped it on off-white colored cardstock, so all I had to do was color it and put the card design together.
I colored the image with various markers (Prismacolor markers, Tombow markers, and Micron Markers). I added some icy ground for the bear to walk on, and colored the blue of the ice with Prismacolor colored pencils and Tombow markers. I added Stardust Stickles to the fur on the kid's coat, on the star and on the ice.
I added some snowflakes to the image with Caramel ink, stamped off several times before stamping on the image. I wanted the snowflakes to be very subtle.
This card measures 5.5" x 5.5".

Absolutely Gorgeous!! OH MY GOODNESS..... Im grinning as I read Crissy's post, as you two really made a stellar team on this!! I totally love the masculine feel of this, where I have only envisioned doing this stamp with blues and purples to depict the cold...I never would of imagined to do these colors, and yet this just BLOWS ME AWAY.... too cool!! Going into my favorites, list me as a fan!! :-)
