Anyway these are stamped with Basic Black on Fabriano paper using the Cavallini Birds and Nests stamp set that my DBF found at Barnes and Noble and bought for me!

Thank you for the info...I notice now that your upload is on page 1 and page 2 of the new additions, that might be why you think it hasn't uploaded (I was confused when my comments weren't logging in on page 1)....off to do a search for Cavallini Papers & Co!

Beautifully simple!!!
Here is some interesting information I found about Fabriano...ya learn something new everyday!
Fabriano is a town in the central region of Italy. It appears to have been founded in the early Middle Ages by the inhabitants of a small Roman town. Fabriano itself was one of the earliest places in Europe to make high-quality paper on an industrial scale, starting in the 13th century, and the town even today has a reputation for fine watermarked paper. This led to Fabriano's prosperity in the Late Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and was also one of the factors that led to the establishment of nearby Foligno in Umbria as the earliest printing center in Italy in the late 15th century.
Fabriano Art Supplies
Italys Fabriano, the oldest paper mill in Europe, has been making paper since 1267. Fabriano invented three major innovations that are still part of papermaking today. They invented the watermark, developed the first surface sizing to protect paper, and the Hydraulic hammer for beating pulp. They are famous for producing the finest art supplies and writing papers for over seven centuries. Today, it is the only mill to produce hand, mould, and machine-made papers under one name, offering an extraordinarily wide range of fine art papers for all purposes. Fabriano was the paper of Michelangelo, Raphael, Durer, and Goya. Artwork from these artists done on Fabriano paper exists today as a testament to its enduring quality. Fabriano paper is available through our online artist supplies store.
