I want to make one of these for my sister-in-law who is a teacher so I thought I would play with one for me first to see what they are like to make. Not only are they fun, they are super easy and the possibilities are endless. What a great small gift idea!

This is so lovely. I see that someone said they already have the books. What books are used to make this? Can you provide some instructions? I've not seen one of these before.

This is a beautiful notebook. The colors are lovely, and you've done a terrific job. I'd be happy to receive this as a gift, and just might make some for my teacher friends. I don't have this set yet, but will have to get it, after seeing all the lovely samples. There are so many talented people out there. I have trouble coming up with ideas, and I've gotten so many in just the short time since I've joined.

WOW!!!! Thanks for all of the nice comments.
As far as instructions go I know they are in several places on scs but here's my version:
You just use a Composition notebook. I got this one for 58 cents at Target. You cut down a sheet of cardstock to size to fit the front and back covers. You cut a sheet for the binding.
Stamp, color, accessorize your cardstock.
I made a ribbon bookmark--so I glued that onto the notebook first.
Then glued my red cardstock on front and back,
then I glued the binding then centered the picture and glued that on.
Finally I trimmed around the edges to make them match up to the notebook.
