This card started off in one direction and when I was almost finished with it, made an abrupt change and ended up completely different than originally planned. I started by stamping 3 sunflowers on white, made the butterfly, trimmed the black cs to back the sunflowers, then decided I wanted to put linen over the sunflowers, so I set the other parts aside. I noticed the butterfly sitting on top of the black was really stunning, so I completely revamped my design and ended up with this.
The large part of the sunflower was stamped in yoyo yellow, summer sun and so saffron and the inside was stamped in creamy caramel and more mustard, giving some variance in the the colors, since they are not stamped perfectly on top of one another. Butterfly is colored with sponges and the white is milky white galaxy marker. Wings are popped up.

Awesome card. I love the coloring on the butterfly, and the black background really makes the flowers and the butterfly just jump off the page. Good job!
