I made these for a craft bazaar on Saturday. I saw the idea in the gallery and then wrote the poem myself. There are cellophane windows so you can see the peppermint candies. The left one is the 2-4-6-8 box and the right is the sour cream container. If you use my poem, please include my name.
I once knew a gardÂ’ner who knew how to grow
Striped canes of candy, from under the snow.
I asked her to share her big secret with me,
And this is the answer she gave readily.
“To garden in winter's quite tricky you know,
It takes special care and just the right snow.”
So here are some seeds - you may want to eat,
Or planted just right, grow a candy cane treat!

These are really cute. Could you please let us know how well they sell and maybe what you put on them for price? I have never done a craft show but am thinking about it for next year. The poem is great and of course I would include your name if I use it. Thank you.

Thank you so very much for posting this project and your creative poem. I'd love to borrow the poem for the Christmas treats I'm making for friends/family. I will certainly give you the creative credit for the poem. Fabulous!

What a wonderful idea! The poem is fantastic - you are creative in many ways. Thank you for sharing, Karen. Do you mind me asking how much you sold them for? Thanks again!
