My aunt had to put her dog Otis (a schnauzer as you can see) to sleep yesterday. He was 14 years old. I didnÂ’t have a dog stampÂ….so I found this picture on the internet and printed it on glossy cardstock. CanÂ’t recall *where* I found the photoÂ….I did a Google search. Her other dog, Buck, is going to be lonely now.
I took the dimensionals off the bottom of the dog bones and used Dotto to adhere them. I inked the paw in Sage and sponged a bit of Walnut ink for added interest.
I forgot to take off the SU copyright for the image before saving the scan.
Still lovinÂ’ this sketch!

That is a cute card and great colors. Sorry about your aunts dog. It sure is hard to lose them-my heart goes out to her. We lost our 9 yr old about 6 mo ago-I cried for 3wks. It will help that she still has one left.

This is adorable --so sad, I'm very sorry for your aunt's loss.
Here's a coincidence though --my aunt (who heads the schnauzer rescue at our local humane society) just had *her* schnauzer put to sleep a few weeks ago. His name was Bucky, & his brother Sam was very lonely until she brought Josie home!! Yep, another schnauzer!!!

A beautiful card, I'm sure she will love you for making it. Our little one has been gone almost a year and it still helps to get a hug when I think about her'
