I looked at the CC, I was going to something fall-ish, and then I was going to do something with lions and alligators, but then I decided to go back to the new set . I looked at the colours, and thought, I must use linograph. So since the card had a slight retro vibe, I felt it was only appropriate to be a happy belated card.
Some other notes, the scalloping was done with the SU corner punch (sans guide), the vanilla circle is actually pierced and covering chipboard. You know what it reminds me of, do you remember colouring on paper at Aunt Carol's, in the basement? We'd make copies of the floor. That's what this card reminds me of.

very nice- this background isn't one I would pick to buy, but you sure make it look good! maybe I will buy it after all lol- you can never have enough bg's after all
