I made this card using the Leaves Awash jumbo wheel for the main image as well as the b/g. For the main image I wheeled it in black onto white card stock, then I watercolored the leaves with the aqua painter, the I sort of outlined the colored leaves with morning marigold, and then I filled in the remainder of the empty space with a sponge with morning marigold. Boy, do I love my morning marigold ink. Too bad it's only here for a short time!!!
The sentiment is computer generated as I didn't have a congrats stamp or anything appropriate to fit into that hodgepodge piece I wanted to use.
Also, I made this as a retirment card for a man who loves to be at his cabin in the woods. I thought the leaves were very approriate since, as a school teacher, this is his first autumn off. However, my boys prompty told me this card is too *girly* -- it's the colors they think are too feminine -- what do you think?

This card is beautiful. I think any man or woman would love to have this. What an honor to be given this. He will appreciate the thought and the colors will remind him of being in the middle of the woods in his cabin!!
