My TLC81 sooty friendship card. I used TP to smear different colors of classic ink onto my glossy paper. Then I really got my piece sooty making sure I did not burn the CS. I then stamped my piece with my Nature's Secret stamp. With my extra TP'd glossy CS, which I used as a layer behind my sooted image I sprayed the glossy CS and my main sooty image with mixed gold pearl ex and hair spray. It gave everything a speckled and shiny look. Very pretty IRL. Then I just started adding layers. I do love all the new patterned papers for layering. Thanks again Beth for a really cool technique and thanks Allee's for the idea to color my glossy CS before sooting. Oh.......so fun to be stamping again after 2 weeks of vacation and catching up at home. Enjoy, Nancy

That really is a good way to brighten up the soot stamping by coloring the glossy first. Thanks for the tip! And I love the pumpkin pie with the 4 seasons paper. I can only imagine how much more shimmery pretty this is IRL. And welcome back to stamping! :o) TFS. Linda
