I made this quick little 4 1/4" square card just so I could cover a slide mount with designer paper and use up a few scraps. Just in case I'm not the last person in the world to ever cover a slide mount with paper, this is how it's done: Adhere paper to one side of slide mount, turn it over and use an exacto knife to cut an X in the center. Fold the flaps to the back, glue them down and trim off the excess.

Very snazzy little card here, Leslie! Great layout idea for this. That smaller card size works great for the size of the slide mount too - it doesn't look so small. The cut-out flowers are showcased so well inside that little frame. Nice use of those designer papers too, but you certainly didn't use up very much ribbon on this card! :o) Thanks for the inspiration and the directions too! Linda

Well, this is just beautiful -- and thank you so much -- I have never covered a slide mount -- I've never even used one -- and I have some that were a gift -- now I'll give it a shot -- so it is just trimmed all around the outer perimiter with a craft knife as well? Also, that is a beautiful verse!!!
