It's been a long time since I pulled my seed beads out, that was fun. After making the seahorse I decided I didn't want a complex background, so I looked through my stash and found this piece which had a circle stamped with a leafy stamp in pale Brusho colours - so it must have been a second or third generation impression, but why just a circle when it's a large cover-a-card backgrounder I cannot remember. I embossed it in a Marianne EF, masked the centre and swiped over the chevron embossing. To clean up the rope circle I cut two concentric circles and embossed them and used that as an overlay. I added a starfish and seaweed cut from scraps. I did also add a few sequins.
Polly mentioned the difficulty of flying beads, sequins, etc. I have received, and therefore surely also sent, more than one card where sequins had come unstuck in the mail - though at least you can always see where to stick them back. But a suggestion from Joanne/Angelnorth to use silicone glue has, AFAIK, revolutionised my gluing of small items, albeit with a slower drying time than Glossy Accents etc. I keep a small syringe in a bag on my desk and it's almost always finished long before it dries out. Pinflair is my glue of choice for sequins, gems, and here the seahorse too which in the past I might have secured with a couple of invisible stitches just to be sure it stayed put.

That is a great card. I am going to pin it to my inspiration board. I am fascinated by the seahorse. Is that as simple as covering it with liquid glue and dipping in beads? They look placed.
