This is for Theresa, who has a very sad story and is going through difficult times right now.
To create the image, I stamped it twice, cut one of them out, and used it as a mask while blending the colors. Most of the image starts with DO black and gradually transitions to grey, lost shadow, until it reaches the dawn and continues.
The sentiment on the card reads, 'Brief is life but love is long.'
I love the look of heat embossing, but it can be quite a bit of extra work, and I'm pretty messy with it.
Finally, I added a short note of support to the card.
I cannot begin to imagine what Theresa is going through, and I never hope to understand it fully. I only hope that these cards can offer some comfort in her time of need.

Beautiful and serene scene that I'm sure Theresa will very much appreciate. I love that you used yellow embossing powder. I never reach for the colors (of which I have MANY). But I know exactly how you feel about the heat embossing. I'm also a member of that club.
