It's a good thing I'm still off from work today, because that card took me forever to make! It was fun though. I really enjoyed seeing how each layer reacted with the last. I'm also excited to have used gesso twice this week! I think the hardest part was trying to find an embossing folder that had nice details. I landed on this pretty 3D embossing folder. The alcohol inks I used were fluorescent yellow and pink, and patina. I just recently picked up a box of metallic acrylic paints at Burlington Coat Factory of all places. Otherwise I would have been sad about not having the silver paint that I thought would look beautiful on this. It took me a little while to decide on the framing and the card base. I was going to do a black card base, but I didn't like it, so I decided to stick with the bright colors. I may have overdone the green by grabbing the same color fun foam for the hugs die cut, but I'm not sure you can ever have too much lime green.
