Jacqueline is our hostess and we have the opportunity, via Marlygo, to send comfort and encouragement to Laura.
Laura loves green so Jacqueline is challenging us to use 3 shades of green on our cards. I had fun making a quilt for Laura making sure to use plenty of green patterns. Using 1 inch punched squares, I adhered the squares to light weight cardstock and then dry embossed to give a quilted look. I matted that with green and adhered these panels to the white stitched rectangle. The sentiment was stamped and die cut and adhered along with the die cut hearts to the quilted layer. A green metallic ribbon double bow was added for embellishment.
Thank you for hosting, Jacqueline! It's wonderful to realize how many tea parties and uplifting cards have gone out from this group to bring cheer to so many.

Another beautiful quilt and the blues and greens look gorgeous together. I love the pierced piece layer and the pattern and texture it adds without detracting from your beautiful centerpiece. Love the punched flower on the sentiment strip -- great touch. I did look up at my card on my craft board and I bet Laura will love this one as much as I love mine. Thanks Rita.
