Kia has given us a delightful video this week. The artist did use masking fluid and other techniques. I sketched the dragonfly and applied masking fluid. Preceded to do the background as she demonstrated. Took off the mask and painted the image. Added white acrylic paint to the wings to highlight and added some funky circles with watercolor and acrylic on a dauber and sponged onto background. Using the one stroke method added the flowers with the white and gold paint. It will be a picture for my craft room. Come and join us and create your scene. TFL

This is gorgeous! So love the white flowers and the great way you positioned the dragonfly on the blade of grass. Excellent shape to the dragonfly!!

Those One-stroke flowers are amaze-balls!! Plus, I love the fairytale look of those cotton fluffs in the sky. It gives the whole painting a dreamy feel. I'm guessing you've worked with masking fluid before because You coped much better than I with the "where did my segments go syndrome". The lighter frothy look of your sky works really well here.
