This is for the following challenges:
today's sketch
today's WCW-mottled watercolor
yesterday's CC-pool party, blushing bride and smoky slate, add shimmer, sparkle or shine
this week's ABC-k is for kindness
last week's WT-use a napkin
last week's MIX-add texture in a new way
Who knew that I have already been doing the watercolor challenge technique...mottled watercolor. I could have invented it! I used this week's colors for the succulent and the right hand piece. The filligree piece is a cocktail napkin, adhered with an iridescent medium, letting the napkin wrinkle a bit for texture. Speaking of texture, this is also for last Friday's MIX-add texture in a new way. I chose to spread some Liquid Pearls with my finger and sprinkle on some chunky glitter that I've had forever. It's on one of the strips and on the main image.
Clear as mud, right? I packed a lot in.

Great idea to use the liquid pearls and the chunky bits...love that part! I also like how you used an iridescent medium on your napkin and got some wrinkles in it....What a beautiful card with lots of techniques and wonderful texture!

I love the effect you got with your water colors, but the center of your flower so steals the show! AWESOME card, Jean. Hugz
