It's been a very sad week and this tribute to our dog is timely. Regenleif, our Rottweiler, had a brain tumor that slowly caused her to leave us on Sep 9. This dog was the sweetest, cutest, most protective dog ever. My daughter got her in Lincoln, England when she was there to get her masters in archaeology at The University of Sheffield. This photo of a rottie pup inspired me to make this card for my daughter.
Yes, my daughter really does have blue hair. Regenleif is wearing her sky blue collar with yellow pineapples, her summer collar.
When she first brought Regenleif home my husband and I were wary of the breed and her size, but in the 11 years she lived with us we grew to love her more than any other pet we've owned.
We miss you and love you.

Big hugs! This touches my heart! I adore your daughter's hair. My sister nursed her 8 year old Crash for as long as she could before she had to say good-bye due to a brain tumor. So sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss of your Rottie. My friend has 3 of them, and they are wonderful wonderful dogs and so easy to love when they try and get on your lap for a cuddle. This is such a beautiful card to remember her by.
