For Lyn's super-fun Watercolours on Black CardstockTLC challenge.
I had great fun making this earlier on, and left the Stickles and pearls to dry while I did the housework.
I opted to use my Twinkling H2Os because I know from experience on white that whatever makes them twinkle also makes them quite opaque. I used Key Lime, Sky Blue, Guatemalan Green, Sunflower and Mulberry to create my background, using a hairdryer after each colour. Some were brushed and smeared with my fingers, some were spattered.
I stamped the script stamp, spatter and grid with ColorBox Frost White.
I really, really wanted to use a feather in spite of the fact that I thought "galaxy" as soon as I saw Lyn's sample, so I used a feather from SNSS, embossing with white. In view of the current times I wanted a theme of cover and protection, so while in hindsight maybe I should have used the verse about God's promises like stars in the dark, this is the one I went with. Also stamped and embossed in white. I added a border of Stickles all round, and some detailing with Liquid Pearls. I used a couple of large star sequins, and some tiny little Honey Bee ones. Great fun...

Into my favs and I sat and just star gazed upon this lovely card. I love that scripture...I am thankful to have had my head lifted (reminded). Stunning, magnificent, mf. I am going back to the drawing board and pull out my twinkling H2Os'. Thank you for keeping with the scripture the Lord knew I needed to 'see'.
