This weekend I visited my sister and saw a picture on her fridge that her grandson had done for her. It was on sun-sensitive paper. So I ended up having my 5 year old great nephew teaching me a new technique on a kind of paper I had never seen before. You place whatever image you want on the paper and then set it out in the sun for 3-5 minutes. Bring it in the house and submerge it in water for 1 minute. The chemicals react to the water somehow and what was bleached by the sun becomes dark and what was dark becomes white. Really cool stuff!

Guess you can learn alot from 5 yr olds and did you ever put it to great use. This card is so interesting to look at and the stitching is such a great accent with it. As usual, you put out another masterpiece!

Wow! I love this card. I have some of that paper somewhere. I am going to try to find it. I didn't know you were supposed to put it in water. Your faux stitching is perfect. It looks real.
