I made this card for this week's Alphabet challenge for the letter C. The c in my card is for "Common Sunflower." Ever since I was little I have thought sunflowers were magical and my SIL feels the same way so this is her birthday card. 1 1/4" was cut away from the front edge of the card so the vase of flowers extends over the front edge. All the images were colored with copic markers and die cut. This card was a lot of fun to make and one I would make again. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Sunflowers are always so warm and cheerful. Love the way the flowers overlap the card - lots of work fussy cutting - but well worth all the work when it creates such a special card.

Your sunflowers are stunning. Love your idea to cut away part of the c.s. You have a wonderful array of dsp and your twine treatment is perfect. The calmness of the pale blue dp and brown twine is a beautiful subtle background for the vibrancy of those beautifully colored sunflowers. Happy to read you both like sunflowers as do I. Congrats on getting so many faves for this one, Karen.
