For my Inspiration Challenge at Needlepoint.com, I was inspired by this wonderful scene: https://needlepoint.com/media/catalo...m/-/m-1600.jpg I found my inspiration under canvases and other animals. So many beautiful pieces of all kinds for inspiration.
I started my card by rubbing my Tim Holtz Distress Ink mimi pad in chipped sapphire over my complete panel to make it a night scene. I die cut the trees and a couple of the snowflakes. The other two snowflakes were punches. I stamped my buck's head on a piece of cardstock, colored with Copics and cut out with scissors. I only had the head for the buck so I just cut out a piece of cardstock for the body and colored it. I did the same thing for the scarf. I used a roll of paper I found at Hobby Lobby for the scarf. The last thing I did was splattering snow over the scene.
Hope you'll join in the challenge. I would love to see what you create.

FABULOUS rendition of your inspiration needlepoint...every detail just perfect! LOVE your night sky and the die-cut/ punch trees and snowflakes elements. Your stag is such a great of coloring and fussy-cutting...as one other said...would never have know it wasn't stamped, coloring and masked to achieve this fabulous result!
