It is my pleasure to be your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. I have chosen Hello Honey, Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, and Rose Red. The dessert option this week is watercoloring.
I always pick a dessert option that will challenge me. I am a novice at watercoloring, and I need to practice more. This week's dessert option forced me to get out my watercolors and go at it. Even though I have a set with lots of colors, I find I need to mix colors to get what I need. That is the most challenging part for me!
I do love this peony stamp from Catherine Scanlon. I stamped in VersaMark on watercolor paper and white heat embossed, and then watercolored. I stamped the birthday sentiment in VM and heat embossed with gold powder. Mounted with foam strips on a Tempting Turquoise card base.
I've also entered this card in Dina's Falliday Fest "Off to the Side" challenge!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

You've knocked this out of the park meeting the color challenges! Your blossoms are gorgeously colored and shaded...love the white embossing. The water and clear glass vases are so realistic!

Aaaaaaaaaand you picked one of my favorite stamps - I love this one so much (and peonies, and Catherine Scanlon...)! Your watercoloring looks great - and that is a very forgiving technique. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge, and combining it with your own!
