This card is for Chrissyd723's Falliday Fest challenge, Cloudy Day.
This is a bit larger card than what I usually make, but I wanted to use the entire wheat panel. Stamped the wheat onto the watercolor paper using the distress inks & the MISTI. Then spritzed it with water to make the inks run & get softer & let it dry. Then stamped randomly with the small "scatter" stamp (can't remember what set that is from...).
Made a background panel with the Antique Cracking stamp & Chocolate Chip ink. Cut a panel out of the Crushed Curry & inked that with the Manuscript stamp & VersaMark ink. Cut a panel of the BZ Yam to layer the watercolor panel on. Stamped the sentiment onto Crumb Cake CS & cut out with the scalloped oval die from the set. Sponged all the edges with Vintage Photo ink to create a distressed look.
Adhered the crushed curry panel to the Antique Cracking panel & tied the ribbon around it, then adhered to the card front. Adhered the Watercolor panel to the BZ yam panel & popped that up on the card front with dimensional tape. Added the sentiment oval, also with DT, & added the flower die cuts & square embellies.
TFL!

Wonderful stamped and water treated wheat panel...great layout! Love your color palette. Great crackled background...looks like rough textured tree bark! GREAT card!
