Here's my sample for Sabrina's WTUI challenge Let's Shine a Light. Hope you'll join us and show us your lovely lighthouses!
This pretty image was perfect for colored pencils and gamsol. So I sat outside in the sun and colored an afternoon away. I trimmed the edge with a border punch, embossed a rope panel to back the die cut sentiment and adhered to a blue card base. Added some gold gel pen for light and a little shine and white gel pen for waves. TFL

What a delightful lighthouse scene...so beautifully colored...love your touches with your gel pens to the sunlight and waves. The border cut such a great enhancement to your image...trying to decided if it reminds me of waves or a rope...whichever, it's perfect. Love the robe embossed panel that hosts your die-cut sentiment. BEAUTIFUL card, Carla!
