Stamped this super cute Penny Black image and colored with copics. Punched out the balloons and the numbers 3 and 0 from gold DP. Stamped the birthday sentiment and popped it on dimensionals. The image is cut in a square and fussy cut around the flowers.
I have a ton of black die cut circles on my desk and as a fun way to use them I cut one in half and attached them to the photo to make it look like they are holding the photo to the card. The balloons are on dimensionals and bakers twine wrapped around them.
This card is for my nephew. He and his daughter share a birthday. I will make her a card just for her but we are always joking with my nephew that his birthday is no longer about him it is about her which is why I thought this picture was perfect for his card and I colored one of the balloons pink for her. He will love this and the symbolism in the card.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.
Thank you for looking!

Lisa, this is adorable! I love the blue jeans background and love the tabs holding the image panel in place. The image is so sweet and perfect for the occasion and for the challenge.

What a sweet card for your nephew! So much thought that went into it
I understand because my son was born on Mother's Day, so that day certainly isn't about me in my house! And I wouldn't have it any other way. (Bonus for Desmond--he gets to celebrate on whatever day of the week that his birthday really does fall on and also again on Mother's Day)

Such a lovely image and you did it justice with your fabulous coloring. My DH and daughter are the 17 and 19th of September, although not the same day his certainly took a back seat when she was little. Now we usually celebrate them both the 18th. One cake, half the calories!
