The reason I chose that particular card is because of the post about Yupo and that circle on her card. I love making circles with alcohol inks. After covering your base with alcohol ink, you can use a watercolor brush or a blender pen to dip just the very tip of the brush or pen into your ink and I added a small bit of water and touch it to the paper and watch the magic. Such fun!!!!
I made the tree with paper from a pizza cardboard box. I tore it off, wet it with water, and shaped. I added leaves from a dotted dp. I saw this card on Pinterest where she used kraft paper to roll and crinkle her paper for the tree. http://tomiannie.blogspot.com/2011/0...xed-media.html The bird and hollyhocks are die cuts.
Left off a sentiment for now.
Not happy with this photo and may try to do it over if time permits.
Christine, what a deserving stamper you are to be featured. Love your gallery.

Wow! Brenda, your background is bold and beautiful! Wonderful details! I bought yupo paper a few months ago put away for safe keeping, it's very safe because I can't find it!

Fabulous, Brenda! Love the addition of the navy hollyhocks which goes so well with the orange circled background. I need to try these alchohol inks. Great card. Wow, the tree is recycled pizza box? Love it.
