WT639 Fix It With Duct Tape. I wasn't going to do this challenge (what can be done with duct tape besides fixing guy stuff and making sticky wallets?), but then I browsed the GALLERY and those wonderful entries sprang an idea into my little pea brain. I'd been saving these photos on Pinterest of rusting vehicles because I loved the colors. One had a picture of a rusty truck parked next to a metal corrugated garage door. Bingo! Wrap duct tape carefully over vellum (because it's thin) and run through my embossing machine with a corrugated Darice ef. Rub pitch black and, appropriately, rust, alcohol inks on the tape and smear them back and forth with blending solution on a felt pad. Instant corrugated surface for my collection of aged auto bodies. My husband said any man of years would like it said he was "aged to perfection". TFL

Wow this sure would be a well loved handsome card for any age , I agree with Sis Kathy. And I agree on the fact I couldn't tell it used duct tape on this card either. When I first looked at it I was like ok where's the duct tape . I had to read your description 3 times to make sure I was actually looking at duct tape and still leaving I'm like wow. Can we say master of masterpieces? high hoping this one as I've done many of yours... btw soon your gallery is my gallery too being i my high ho list consists of much of yours lol

The colour and sense of texture in those photos is amazing! No wonder you've been saving them. Your creative background is the perfect setting for them. I'm glad you decided to get that tape out.

Love all your rusty trucks, Kandie. The way you put all of these pics together along with the e.f. is wonderful. A very pleasing card to look at. Neat how you treated the e.f.

Wow, this card blew me away! Love how you used the duct tape and vellum for the background. I have never thought of saving pictures like this to make a card, but I know at least one male in my family who would love something like this. Thanks for the inspiration!
