The challenge for this first day of June was to use this month's birthstone---the pearl. I used an unbranded die to cut the mermaid. The shells were cut with Cuttlebug dies and rimmed with a Krylon gold leafing pen. The coral was cut with a MS punch. The large leafy seaweed was cut with a die from Sue Wilson. My sand was stamped with an unknown stamp...it was just a scrap I found in my stash from a long time ago.

Gorgeous! So many beautiful details -the gold fronds as well as the silver, the wonderful textured sea, your beautiful mermaid with her pearl. But maybe most of all I like that stamped sandy sea-bed.

What a fabulous paper for the sea! Your gold touches on the shells really bring glitz to them. The entire package is gorgeous. That mermaid die is a pretty one and the pearl looks so natural in her hand!
