For the MIX I went with flowers that are blooming here right now. An iris image that I watercolored and then cut out to mount on other rectangles. We've had so much rain and flooding in my area, I don't even want to think about it!

Oh, just lovely! I was looking at irises blooming in a garden this morning and thinking I should try to take a trip to the Botanic Gardens. They always remind me of my grandmother. The geometric rectangles in the background set it off beautifully.

I really miss irises we left behind when we moved, they looked a lot like this. Hope the new homeowners are enjoying them, along with all of the rose bushes I got for Mother's Days
Your card is so pretty, Sallie. You've inspired me to go buy some more of these beauties!

Beautiful Irises Sallie! I have some tall purple Siberian irises that came from my aunt when I got my first house. They always remind me of her when they bloom! Love the way you framed your beauties!
Your irises are so lovely, Sallie! Hope the rain lets up soon where you live. We're still waiting for our irises to blossom. Everything seems to be late this year.

One of my favorite flowers, and so beautifully done!
