I had so much fun today's with Lee's "Wonderfully Wild" CAS Challenge. Although I find that lately my "CAS" cards are getting a little bit away from me. I just couldn't seem to stop with the layers today.
My youngest uncle is turning fifty this month and I need this for his surprise birthday party on Friday. I tried to find my most surprised or inquisitive looking wild animal digi for the front and kept the wild theme going on the inside. My uncle graduated from high school with my brother in 1986, and I think "That's Wild" is a pretty 80s saying, so, wow, what a perfect challenge for me today!
I made the sentiments in Microsoft Word and set the "50" and "WILD" to be hollow so I could make them zebra striped. I used a stencil on the inside, but the 50 was so small that I had to freehand the stripes on that one. Popped up the monkey and the sentiment over some torn (clearly by the claws of a lion or tiger) animal print paper.

Super fun 50th B-day card! Enhancing the numbers and letters is very creative! If it's an animal these birthday party, it would be fun to have music from bands like... Flock of Seagulls, Eagles, The Monkees, Stray Cats, etc!!
Have tons of fun at the party!!

What an absolutely charming card! I love how you kept the "wild" theme going with your mischievous little monkey and that fabulous animal print paper! And hey- I think your free-handed zebra stripes are very pro! Love how you made this so personalized for your uncle and I'm sure he'll treasure it. Thanks for sharing such a delightful creation with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
