What 2 fun challenges to join in with! I have made a CAS style mixed media card and taken inspiration from this wonderful card in my favourites gallery -
Stamped the lady with the umbrella, paper pieced, added the spots on the dress using white gel pen and coloured hair and skin using copic pens. Fussy cut the lady. Die cut the rectangles, lightly stamped the "rain" using stamp from Gorgeous Grunge set in Smoky Slate. Added the grassy edges and die cut fence. Stamped the sentiment - words of wisdom - and adhered the lady with the umbrella, using dimensionals.
This card is indicative of the weather here in Sydney for the month of March - rain, rain, rain!!

This is a fantastic case of your inspiration card! Amazing fussy cutting and love the paper piecing. I love the way you scaled down the gray framing and placed your solitary woman so that it looks like she is stepping into the scene.

Wow! This is fabulous - and it conveys such depth of feeling. I'm quite moved by it to be honest. Paper piecing is perfect for this stamp set ... sadly I don't own it. Gosh it's good x
