Ah, Mary Poppins! Who can resist Julie Andrews AND Dick Van Dyke? Dick Van Dyke is just one of my favorite actors ever though. So I chose Chim Chim Cher-ee and made a rooftop Z Box Fold card.
I scanned a coloring book page, so I could print it on heavier paper. Then I chose some rooftop lines and fussy cut and repeated until I had three rows of houses cut out. And layered them in front of a night sky that I sponged with Distress inks and drew on stars with gel pen. I drew a nice moon on that front panel, but then the houses completely covered it. Oops! Lastly, I chose a house that doesn't show when the card is folded and colored it bright yellow, so it would stand out as someone's new home. It needs a sentiment but I couldn't decide what to use or where to put it this morning. I'll have to add one in later.

Wow, wow, wow, this is FABULOUS, FANTASTIC, BRILLIANT and Ohhhhhhh so CLEVER. Jen can you tell how much I love this wonderful Z-fold creation. The design is terrific, the one coloured house is magic and scanning onto heavy cardstock is genius. No need to tell you this has been pinned and faved.

Such a fun card! I love all those houses and the fact that you made one of the yellow. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
