Lots going on in today's sketch--a tough one for me!
So my two year old woke me up at 1:30 am and I couldn't get back to sleep, so I figured I'd check out today sketch. I planned this card in my head as I feel back to sleep. The three squares reminded me of a photo booth strip and I thought the hearts would be cute with some sort of friendship message inside.
I made this in Word by starting with a film strip clipart. Then I inserted two of the Bugaboo cheerleader digis and cropped just their heads together to fit into each photo. As you can see it took them a few tries to get their pose just right. Then I used Word Art shapes for the hearts and put text boxes on top of the hearts with the words on them.
I printed and cut and then went looking for some good DP to use. I really liked the idea of this DP with words like "life", "special", "memories", "moments". It's a lot bolder of a color palette than I had envisioned in the middle of the night, but I really like the message. Since there was already so much going on here, I threw in some sequins to finish. Then I stamped "Time passes..friendship stays right where it's put" from Curvy Verses. I've already virtually sent this to my oldest friends (with whom I've spent quite a bit of time in photo booths).
On a side note, did anyone else have a tough time uploading this morning? I kept having to reload the page and start over--even after I cleared my cookies.

What an absolutely delightful card this is- and such a fun walk down memory lane too- for both of us! I would never think to come up with this wonderful card design on my own, and I absolutely love it! You really put a lot of work into creating this fantastic card, and it totally shows! I love everything about your card! Wow! ~Karen.
