Well, it's been a while since I've posted a card...since last year! You know how "life" can be at times, and it was finally a treat to color something. As soon as I saw this week's Color Challenge with Karen Barber's favorite colors, I knew I could use them on this card. I love sweet peas, and I used the entire image, used one of my favorite decorative dies, and then adhered to the white card base. I added some "diamonds" that I got from Honey Bee Stamps to add some sparkle and interest.
Okay...are you ready for true confessions? I colored this image (as my test) on regular photocopy paper. Yep! I liked it and just could not replicate this same color on what I normally use (Neenah). So...after numerous attempts, I gave up and used this one - haha! Do you believe it? I now understand how Susie (my DD sis) uses copy paper successfully. However, I don't plan to make this a habit!
So, my wonderful friends, thank you so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week! You are so dear to me!

Masterfully colored and always designed in the most classic and elegant way. The Sweet Pea is one of my favorites. And I never see one that I don't stop to gently hold it and remember. It was my youngest sister's favorite flower - as sweet and pretty as she was. Hugs sweet friend.
