I made this card for the Letter U Alphabet Challenge for "Under the Sea" and the double challenge was to "use it" which is the sea horse I have had in my stash for at least 3 years now. I was really into doing a lot of frantage at one time and this sea horse was just waiting to be used on a project. There are some wonderful video's on how to do frantage if you have not done this before, and the results are stunning. I do not use a heat gun for this technique, but rather, an electric fry pan I bought at Saver's to use just for the Frantage technique. I put aluminum foil in the pan, turn it on high, and it lay my piece in the pan and the pan does all the work for me. The background of this piece is sponged in Tim Holtz Salty Ocean. Then the bottom and up the sides are sponged with TH Faded Jeans. The fish are stamped in the Faded Jeans ink. The sea weed is cut on the cricut in white and sponged with TH Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn inks then topped with a clear Wink of Stella pen. Added the Sea Horse, sentiment and the clear gems for bubbles. This was a really fun card to make.

Wow! What a fabulous seahorse. I've never seen one so pretty. A fry pan, huh? The people at these stores never have a clue why we buy certain things, do they? I'm sure they assumed yours was for cooking, but not a seahorse. HAHA
