ascare dancin' his way into your psyche today! Thanks to naturelcoaststamper and dizzymommie for the spooky and halloweenie challenges. I wanted to bring my TOP hat skeleton to the party and how better then to have him dance his way out into the scary night?
I must admit I did not want to use my very last piece of this awesome Memory Box dp...do you ever feel that way? I fussy cut around the tree branches to move my doorway into the paper. Opening one of the doors for Fred. He was inked onto blue vellum and fussy cut as well. Just behind him is more of the last piece of dp.
My very clever husband suggested the name. His mind never rests and each day is a *JOY*ride for me.
The letters are from sets by Purple Onion Designs. They were embossed with Silver Pearl *FRED* and Sea Foam White ~ascare.
So I'd love to know if I connected the dots and made you giggle. Plays on words never fail to make me smile.
Get ya top hat out and dance on, peeps!
Thanks for popping by.

Oh Susan - this made me say "Oh" out loud. I am NOT remotely into Halloween, but love Fred Astaire and love this card. It reminds me too of one of the Terry Pratchett books.

Love the white ink on the black and the way those leaves just pop and of course that element of humor in the little play on words.

Ah, Susan, your cards never fail to delight in their originality and creativity and I always love the stories that go with them!! This is a brilliant Halloween card, I can see why you love this fabulous dp, and I can relate to your not wanting to use the last of it - glad you did, though, so we could fall in love with this fabulous card!! Love the name of your skeleton, BTW!
