It has been a privilege to be a guest designer for the Color Challenges this month. I really like the pretty colors that Maura has chosen for us which work well with her dessert of Sympathy or Thinking of You. I have used this set for sympathy cards before and thought it would work well with these colors. I stamped in stamped off Sugarplum twice and then stamped in the darker Razzleberry in the center. I used a marker to extend the stem of the darkest one. I rounded one corner and then sponged Slate around the edges with a focus on the corners. I had a tiny smudge at the bottom so ended up adding the organdy ribbon. I used a narrow frame of Slate and a base of Sugarplum. I finished by adding some accent pearls.

Wonderful, beautiful card, Gail! I love the way you created three shades of the leaves, and how clever to extend the stem. I love the pearls and the ribbon, too! Thanks for joining us on the CC team this month!

I can't get over how simple and pretty this is. Too bad I don't have sugarplum yet. :( But, when I get it, I'll definitely be making this card. The pearls are a perfect addition. TFS!!
