Running late....no food to make dinner...oops! Will be back latter to finish this entry.
Disaster avoided...dinner was a success. If anyone needs an easy, quick receippe for chicken marsala, send me a PM. I wanted to do something with Little House on the Prairie for the CT0916, but this was the only image that even came close. It was so much fun to color that I colored 2...one to use later. Even though it is super old, I had never used it....this is such a common thing on SCS. I couldn't decide how to finish this until I saw the TLC to use the faux leather technique. What a terrific technique. Then I just had to add the pumpkin for the CAS challenge. I think that every time I put a card in the CAS gallery, the hostesses must be shaking their heads, clicking their tongues, and muttering "she's hopless". TFL, Francie

You are so funny Francie! I love your odd girl and the corn and flowers and so cute and of course you had to add the pumpkin and hey, if I had had a bit more time I would have done the faux leather bg too so why not! I think your card is spectacular as always dear friend!

Oh my, it looks just like a picture in a frame with your wonderful leather background, Francie, or is it layered under the leather for a real frame now I look more closely. I'm looking at all the detail in that image and wondering how you found time to colour one, let alone two. I love the little hen and Chickie's, and her clog-type shoes.
And I love those books, I still read them from time to time.

Definitely "Little House on the Prairie". Such a old fashioned country style card. Beautifully coloured and perfect for the "pumpkin" theme. I am with you on this CAS - just leave it alone thing - he he.

Aw, Francie, you are not hopeless! LOL. I think this qualifies for CAS, absolutely. I haven't seen this image in years and what a delight to see what you've done with it! Beautiful coloring and I love the tall pumpkin you added at the bottom edge of your card,
