For today's Inspiration Challenge. Audrie asked that we get out of our comfort zone today, so I pulled out this sweet image that I've had for years and never inked before. I just don't do children or whimsical, so this is unusual for me as well as the 'odd' layout. I stamped, colored and diecut the focal image, then placed it on a green mat. Dry Embossed the white base and lightly sponged on the focal piece and the base. Stamped the sentiment, assembled and added the dazzles. for a little sparkle.
Lost my link - had to go back and find it: THIS was my inspiration.

Beautiful coloring and sponging and I just love that card embossed and dusted with soft pink! It's so perfect for this adorable image. Your colors are always fabulous, particularly the matting on this one!

I have this same image set and like you, for some time, haven't used it. You have now inspired me to ink it up and try it out, especially after seeing your amazing coloring job! Lovely soft color palette.
An interesting side note, the real Holly Hobbie lives just a mile or two from me in my small town, she attends our fall festival with other local authors for book signings.

So sweet! You colored her perfectly, it certainly doesn't look like it was out of your comfort zone!
