I actually cased myself when I made this card a week ago for my dear aunt Darlene's birthday: Bird House Trio by Art Deco Diva at Splitcoaststampers. My aunt loves these "Indian Summer" colors so I did my best to honor that when I was water coloring this image with Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Since I had not gotten this card uploaded yet, I felt it fit today's Alphabet Challenge for the letter L for lovely birdhouses. I stamped the image on some scrap watercolor paper intending to make a different kind of card at the time. Once I colored the image in, I knew I had to change the card design. The image panel was not big enough for the 5x7 card I intended to make, so that is why there are so many border layers.

I love the border layers! And it gives you another L for layers. The lovely image so beautifully colored in with those terrific colors works perfect with the layers you chose.
