It took 6 tries to get this pressed flower. I was either squishing too much or not enough. I finally shimmed and used a rubber mat on Tab 3? the base. The flower is a pink Wild Phlox but it came out purple. It is matted on Almost Amethyst and mounted on Antique Linen that I scored in the corner for the CAS challenge. Added an epoxy sticker that has a crosshatch pattern just to make sure I have the diagonals covered.

Worth all those attempts as you ended up with a beautiful impression of the flower. Interesting that a pink phlox came out purple - my royal blue cornflower came out purple too!
