Vicki is our hostess this week and she has chosen tempting turquoise, real red, and emerald envy. For dessert: a bird! For the part of my card when I was watercoloring, I subbed Zig marker colors as close to the colors as I could.
On a separate piece of watercolor cs, I created a watercolor wash with turquoise reinker and with a green Zig marker, and then splattered the panel with diluted white acrylic paint. Triple stamped the bird, and fussy cut. Die cut the branch, berries, and leaves - watercolored the berries and leaves and then sponged with real red and emerald envy. Stamped sentiment, and assembled with a black mat.

You've done it again, Maura, with this beautiful card! I love the bird and branch, and the use of this week's colors, but once again I adore the amazing background you created. Lovely!

What a stunning card! Love the pop of the cardinal against the watercolored winter sky with what looks like snowflakes in the background. Really beautiful!
