Vicki is our hostess in the Color Challege this week, and she has asked us to make a card using Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, and Emerald Envy. The dessert option this week is to have a bird on your card. I get double dessert this week!
When I saw this stamp last January in the Stampin' Up! SAB brochure, I knew I had to have it and had to wait until now to use it. This is an anniversary card for my daughter and son-in-law. They will celebrate their 25th anniversary this month, and they have a tandem bike. This week's colors are perfect for this card—Cathy's favorite color is turquoise, and the red hearts do a great job symbolizing love.
I used an Emerald Envy stamp pad to sponge ink onto a piece of white cardstock, cut the grass panel, and adhered it onto the bike panel. I must say I love my MISTI, but for a 2- or 3-step image, it doesn't do the job for me. It was back to my trusty old Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for perfect placement of the basket, hearts and birds. A tool for every job!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

"You'll look sweet upon a seat of a bicycle built for two..." as soon as I saw your sweet card, the song popped into my head. Perfect for an anniversary milestone.
