It's Color Challenge time!!! This is my third week of being a guest designer for the Color Challenges, and I'm thoroughly enjoying my time as a "guest"!
The awesome and talented Maura (beesmon) is the hostess this week for the challenge, and she chose the beautiful colors of SU Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler, and Always Artichoke. Her "dessert" is bling!! When I saw her beautiful color selections, I immediately thought of a Christmas card. Therefore, I created one.
Let's get to the best part first so I can get extra points! LOL (just kidding). I added "bling" in the form of Stickles! Hopefully you can see the bling in the windows and on selected leaves of the image.
Moving on, my card's main feature is a Winter Wonderland Scene made with a Cottage Cutz die and Solar White Card Stock. To break up the white and create a red building, I cut out a second Winter Wonderland Scene, but using Cherry Cobbler Card Stock. I cut off the red church from the red die cut and adhered it to the original white one. I also used an Impression Obsession Die to add three Cherry Cobbler cardinals. (I think that Christmas isn't Christmas without cardinals!)
I added a poinsettia on the left-bottom corner that I made with Spellbinders dies and added Gold Flower Soft to the center of the flower. I mounted the scene on Always Artichoke card stock, added a Solar White frame mounted with foam tape, and adhered that to an Always Artichoke card base with the Cherry Cobbler sentiment.
Enjoy!! Thanks for looking and leaving comments!!

Fabulous scene, Bev!!! Love all the pretty details and sparkle and bling - you sure have desert covered! Great idea to make the church in cherry cobbler - love this!
