I am so late...I hope there is still some tea in the pot. This very late card is for Jan's super fun Tickle a Teapotter challenge.
I recently purchased some Lavinia digi images of houses. They were rather expensive compared to many other digi images so I plan to get my moneys worth, hence this house has been turned into a teapot.
The background was made by spraying Dylusions ink onto an A4 sheet of cardstock then squirting with a lot of water. I got a bit carried away with the ink and the water, so I quickly slapped a new sheet of A4 cardstock on top. I rubbed the card with my hand then peeled the sheets apart.
This is actually the second sheet, the colours were a bit softer and I liked the white bits. The original sheet is in my stash for another day.
For the house, I printed the image onto photocopy paper then drew on a handle and spout using a fine black sharpie. I put it back into the printer and ran off a copy, which I then coloured.
I coloured with pencils and then added Spectrum Noir markers over the top. I may never buy copic cardstock again, colouring on the photocopy paper is great. The waxy pencils seem to make a good base for the alcohol markers. It's a piece of cake to cut!!
It is almost time for Dare To Get Dirty week, I hope to see you there. Thank you for looking.

Oh... You used your Susie flowers :-). What a wonderful teapot you found, though I suspect that it's really the home of some tea fairies down in the woods. It sounds as if you've made a great discovery with the photocopy paper. I bought paper recently that was described on the packaging as card...but I would only call it paper! It is, at least, easy to cut and fine for stamping and fussy-cutting.

Shut the front door! This is totally adorable. Love the whimsical colors and the fact you made a teapot house. I would totally live here if I were a gnome or fairy (or mouse). And the tangles! You are my new stamping idol!
