My card is being submitted for two challenges, TLC592 and CC589. I wanted to participate in the Technique Lovers Challenge, TLC592, using Karen's tutorial; however, three tries went swirling into the trash can. I didn't want to give up, so I decided to try something else to get a marbled look. I swiped the SU inks onto a craft mat and spritzed water and Pearl Glimmer Mist onto the inks. I then swiped the watercolor card stock through the inks. The Glimmer Mist lightened the colors, but I like the outcome. Hopefully the card will qualify for TLC592.
As for the color challenge, I used the three colors of ink and card stock. I die cut the Island Indigo center piece, stamped it with Elegant Eggplant (looks black), and adhered my sentiment to it. I added a piece of Elegant Eggplant ribbon onto the card that runs behind this center piece.

Bev, this is stunning! Your marble technique is phenomenal - well done on not giving up, and I love the delicate die cut. The cross is beautiful and the sentiment looks lovely with the shimmer you added. Well done for both challenges!

I'm very impressed that you persevered....I'm not good at that....I'm easily discouraged. Anyway....I'm glad you did.....your final results are spectacular.....really beautifully done!
