Peggy is our hostess this week and she has chosen: Perfect Plum, Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette and for dessert: use, or make your own dsp. For this card I passed on dessert.
On separate cs, I splattered some masking fluid and let dry. Then I embossed some of the floral stamps so they would stay white, and sponged around the card with all 3 colors. I stamped some of the flowers randomly around the card and then cleaned up the embossed images and rubbed off the masking fluid. I love the added look this created. Stamped the sentiment, die cut the butterfly and matted with a border of white and then attached to the plum card front. Added 1 gem to the butterfly. This also works for our CAS challenge: wings.

This card is gorgeous!! I'm going to have to google masking fluid because I have no clue what it is. But it seems to be a good thing to have ;) Beautifully done! TFS

Beautiful, as usual, Maura. I love using masking fluid and you've done a great job with it.

Colour Challenge perfection! The colours are so soft - a look I wish I could create! I adore the 'highlight' effect. I dream of making cards like yours - that's why I join in the challenges!
