Peggy is our hostess this week and she has chosen: Perfect Plum, Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette and for dessert: use, or make your own dsp. For this card I passed on dessert.
On separate cs, I splattered some masking fluid and let dry. Then I embossed some of the floral stamps so they would stay white, and sponged around the card with all 3 colors. I stamped some of the flowers randomly around the card and then cleaned up the embossed images and rubbed off the masking fluid. I love the added look this created. Stamped the sentiment, die cut the butterfly and matted with a border of white and then attached to the plum card front. Added 1 gem to the butterfly. This also works for our CAS challenge: wings.

I have my hot pants, Maura. Yeah! Thanks so much. Congrats on being selected in the top 3 at ATS. Very cool. Oooh, do I ever love this card. Your masking made for a great artistic card using today's colors. Outstanding.

Sigh. What a beauty this is, Maura! Your design is exquisite, with gorgeous embossing and sponging. The butterfly adds the perfect dimension to this card.
